From The Dalles to Bend, there is such a gorgeous view of the Cascade Mountains!
Route 197 from The Dalles runs through farms, desert landscapes until Hwy 26 just on the east side of the Cascade.
Mt. Hood could be seen from The Dalles to all the way to Bend... almost!
Of course pictures can't show the magnificent landscape my eyes saw.
