Oh, finally! After almost two years living in Salem, I decided to go to down from Independence and cross the Willamette River with Buena Vista Ferry.
The ferry is small. It can only carry four cars. Pedestrians and motorcycles are also allowed.
It's beautiful and was a nice experience crossing the river this way.
